You can cancel your housing application/assignment, in writing, at any time before moving into campus housing. The refund of your $200 Confirmation Rent Payment (CRP) depends on when you cancel. If you cancel by the applicable deadline (May 15 or your assignment confirmation deadline, whichever is later) your CRP will be refunded. If you miss this deadline your $200 CRP will not be refunded.
You are only responsible for the remainder of the academic year’s rent if you actually move into campus housing (section 9).
To cancel: simply send an email to email@example.com and include your full name, student ID number and request to cancel.
