  • 2012 Recycle Mania

Each year Residence Life Sustainability team hosts the nation-wide Recycle Mania competition. For eight weeks our 24 undergraduate halls compete for the best recycling rate. Students compete in the categories of recycling, water and electricity conservation and educational programming. This year’s competition proved to be successful with a combined total of 33,000 lbs recycled and there were over 180 programs hosted within the eight week period.

The winning halls each received a cash prize to purchase something sustainable for their hall. This year’s winners are:

    1. Navajo-Pinal
    2. Yuma
    3. Kaibab-Huachuca
