The Office of Student Computing Resources (OSCR)
If you would like assistance with operating systems, computer programs, or peripherals, OSCR has several Help Desk computer labs and multimedia labs staffed with people who can help you. OSCR also hosts an online computing assistance forum open to all UA students, staff, and faculty.
In addition, OSCR offers hundreds of free multimedia workshops each semester. You will find a complete list on the OSCR website (http://oscr.arizona.edu/). OSCR’s phone number is 626-TECH (8324).
UITS
If you have problems with wireless in your building, contact the UITS 24/7 IT Support Center at 626-TECH (8324) or visit http://the247.arizona.edu to receive live chat/remote assistance or to complete an online support form.
Residence Life Technology Services (TechServ)
If you have network problems during the academic year, please call Technology Services Help Line at 621-8222. This Help Line is equipped with voice mail.

Leaving a Message for Technology Services
Before calling Technology Services for support, please make sure your computer is powered on and you are at your keyboard. Be prepared to leave a detailed message for TechServ staff in the event the staff is unable to take your call.
When you leave a message for TechServ, please include:
- Your name
- Your hall and room number
- A local phone number (“local” means a 520 area code) where TechServ can return your call (your room phone is best)
- A specific description of the problem
- The times when you will be in your room, so the TechServ staff will be able to contact you when you are at your computer.
TechServ support staff will investigate and return your call as quickly as possible. You may also contact TechServ via E-mail at techserv@life.arizona.edu.
WiFi Help
If you have problems with wireless in your building but can access it elsewhere on campus with your computer, contact the UITS 24/7 IT Support Center at 626-TECH (8324) or visit http://the247.arizona.edu to receive live chat/remote assistance or to complete an online support form.
