Use of Video Game Consoles on the UA Network
You may use internet-capable game machines (Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 3, etc.) on the UA network, but please remember that The University of Arizona’s network is provided for academic purposes. If your video game console interferes with the network in any way, Residence Life will block it.
Support for Video Game Consoles
Neither The University of Arizona nor Residence Life provides any support for video game consoles. If you wish to use one, you must know how to find your video game console’s physical address and connect it to the network by yourself. Please consult your video game console’s owner’s manual for directions.
Registering Video Game Consoles
You must register the physical address of your internet-capable video game console before you can use it on the UA network. The registration process is the same as the process for registering your computer. Consult your machine’s owner’s manual for instructions on how to find your its physical address.
