Connecting to to the Network Using UA WiFi

Step 1. Assemble What You Need

UA NetID and Password

If you do not yet have a University of Arizona Net ID and password, please establish one. Go to the UA NetID web site. Click on the “Create UA Net ID” link and follow the prompts.

Until you have a UA Net ID, you will not be able to register for UA WiFi.

Wireless Card

In order to use UA WiFi, your computer must have a 802.11a/b/g wireless card capable of WPA security.

Step 2. Register for UA WiFi

  1. Open a browser window.
  2. Go to UA Wireless Access Registration Form page.
  3. Enter your UA NetID and password in the fields provided.
  4. Registering for UA wireless access.

  5. Click the Register button. If you have entered your UA NetID and password correctly, a page will display saying that you have successfully registered for UA WiFi.

Step 3. Set Up Your Computer to Run UA WiFi
