Housing Accommodations

Housing accommodations during the summer months (May 28th through August 6th) at The University of Arizona are provided by utilizing available residence halls. A number of 'traditional' style residence halls and one 'suite' style residence hall are used each summer.
The majority of our residence halls are of the 'traditional' style. Rooms are typically arranged on wings with common bathroom facilities on each wing. Men and women are housed on separate wings. Rooms are generally equipped with twin beds, desks, dressers, closets, a small refrigerator and local telephone dialing capability. The front desk is staffed daily from 7:00 AM to 12:00 midnight. Staff is on-call 24 hours per day to handle guest concerns.
Guests may check into their accommodations beginning at 2 PM daily, and must check out by 12:00 noon. Exceptions to these times must be approved by our office in advance and will be subject to room availability. Groups/guests checking out after 12:00 noon, without prior approval, will be billed for an additional night at the applicable rate.
We look at our residence halls as more than just a place to sleep, and we equip our halls accordingly. Beyond sleeping rooms and a front desk, many of our halls also provide kitchen and barbeque facilities, lounges, and small meeting rooms which can be reserved for guest use. All halls are air conditioned and include vending and laundry services on-site. All residence hall rooms come with local telephone service and direct Ethernet connections for individuals traveling with laptops or other computer equipment.
