We are very proud to have a staff of talented and committed students and professionals to help develop and maintain a great residential environment.
Coordinator for Graduate and International Student Housing
This is a full-time professional staff member who manages the La Aldea complex, supervises the Community Resident Assistants and mediates community issues. The Coordinator has a masters degree and at least two years of Residence Life experience.
Office Manager
The La Aldea main office is located immediately before the main entrance gate, on the south side of the building. It is staffed by a full time office manager who oversees all administrative functions, mail, keys, community room reservations, equipment checkout, etc.
Community Resident Assistants
La Aldea is staffed with seven live-in Community Resident Assistants (CRAs) who are grad students at the UA. CRAs work to foster resident relations, implement community programming and serve in on-call rotations for emergencies and security rounds. There is one CRA on call every night. Residents of La Aldea may call the duty line at 307-2092 between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM with any emergencies or situations that require immediate attention.
Desk Staff
A staff of student Desk Assistants sort the mail and run the office from 5 PM to 8 PM every weekday in the absence of the Office Manager.
Packages can only be picked up to when the main office is open. The CRA on call will not be able to retrieve packages for you after the office is closed.
Maintenance and Custodial Staff
La Aldea has its own team of maintenance and custodial staff who care for and take pride in the facilities. Custodial staff provides clean and well maintained public spaces for residents. Maintenance mechanics address any facility concerns residents may have. You can submit an Online Maintenance-Custodial Request for anything needing repair/attention. When you submit an Online Maintenance-Custodial Request, you grant permission for maintenance staff to enter your apartment. Please submit one Online Maintenance Request per issue, and someone will respond to you within 48 hours.
