Community Standards
By choosing to live in La Aldea, you are agreeing to abide by Residence Life Community Standards (which can be found in the Community Living Guide [PDF]). As a member of this community, you have certain rights as a resident and as a student. Please recognize that other members of this community have these same rights, and that your rights stop where someone else’s begin. It is important to learn to compromise with others in order to maintain an environment in which all members of the community may grow as individuals and may pursue learning as a cornerstone of the campus residential experience. Community Standards are established to assist in shaping this environment, to protect your rights, and maintain the safety of each individual.
You are expected to abide by local, state and federal laws, as well as by these Community Standards (and others that may be developed to further support this community.)
By reading the Community Living Guide [PDF], you acknowledge that you are responsible for abiding by all of its provisions in the Community Standards contained therein, and agree to seek clarification from La Aldea Staff members for any items you do not understand.
