Student Room Amenities

What is included in my room?
Your residence hall room includes one of the following for each resident:

• Twin size bed (extra-long 80" mattress), in most halls (see hall descriptions for details on such bed types as bunk beds, captain's beds etc.)
• Desk with desk chair
• Closet
• Dresser
• Trash can and recycle tote
• Room Keys
  You will be issued a key to your assigned room and, where applicable, an entrance door to your building and/or mailbox. Keys are your responsibility and are not to be given to others. You are required to return all keys issued when you check out. If you lose a key, you are responsible for the cost of changing the lock(s) and key replacement. It is a violation of state law and University policy to duplicate a key to any lock on University property.

Your residence hall room also includes: 

• Carpeting in all student rooms except Yavapai
• Window blinds
• Peephole in door
• Cable Television
  Extended basic cable is provided in all residence hall rooms.
• Telephone Service
  Local service to each room is provided free of charge.
• Internet
  Rooms in all University residence halls are equipped with two live Ethernet ports (three ports in triple rooms) and hall wi-fi.

Where do I find the extra-long size bed linens?

Many retail stores offer the extra-long “dorm” sheets.

Also, the University of Arizona Residence Hall Association (RHA) has partnered with Residence Hall Linens (RHL) to offer our students a convenient, affordable way to purchase extra-long sheets and bedding items, as well as other campus-living necessities. Please visit the RHL website for more information! Proceeds from this program go to the RHA and are used for programming in the halls.
