Global Theme Community in Manzanita-Mohave Hall
Welcome to the Global Theme Community at Manzanita-Mohave Residence Hall! When you are a part of this community, your view of the world will be expanded far beyond any border or boundary. In this global setting you will have the chance to meet students from all over the world and experience a variety of cultures on a daily basis. This is an accepting and respectful community that is eager to learn about and embrace the differences and similarities among its members. The community is open to all majors at the University of Arizona.
As an international student studying in the U.S. and living in this community, you can share your experiences with other international students and support each other during your transition to the U.S. You will be able to meet new U.S. students that are knowledgeable in U.S. customs and culture, and are excited to help you adjust to your new environment.
As a U.S. student living in this community, you will have the opportunity to share parts of your culture with international students, see U.S. culture from a different perspective and learn about international cultures. If you are majoring in Global Studies, a foreign language, or another program with an emphasis on internationalization, living in this community will give you a hands-on understanding of other cultures. If you are considering studying abroad, this is a great way to learn about some of the exciting, and sometimes challenging, experiences that you may encounter.
