Recycling in the Halls

Residence Life offers recycling and terracycling programs in each of the dorms. The left side of the page describes the recycling program, it's impact and lists the types of materials that are able to be recycled. The right side explains the terracycling program and the types of wrappers that can be utilized.

Terracycling can give items that would be seen as trash a new life. Items that are Terracycled are made into myriad products, including pens, messenger bags, notebook covers, and more. You can do your part by locating the Terracycle bin in your hall (typically near the lobby) and using it. Give us your trash!  Since beginning this initiative in the Spring of 2010, we have collectively saved 52,297 pieces of trash from the landfill!
