New Undergraduate Students
Congratulations on your admission to the University of Arizona! Now you can apply for campus housing.
By when do I need to apply?
April 1: If you apply by April 1, we guarantee you a space in the residence halls (dorms) for next fall semester.
What happens if I apply after April 1?
We still take housing applications after April 1 IF we have space, but we do not know how much longer space will be available after this date.
What information do I need to fill out the housing application?
- Your UA NetID and password (if you don’t have these yet, go here)
When will I be assigned?
- If you apply for housing by March 1, you will be able to self-assign to your hall, as soon as you complete your application.
- If you apply for housing between March 2 and May 15, you will still be able to self-assign to your hall, but only once you receive an email invitation from us.
- If you apply for housing after May 15, you will be required to provide your assignment preferences on your housing application. We will assign you later in the summer and consider your preferences, but we cannot guarantee them, due to availability.
What if I only want to live on campus during my spring semester?
The “spring only” application is typically on our website by October 1, so check back then.
