Thank you for your interest in a desk manager position with Residence Life! Residence Life is dedicated to providing dynamic communities that support students’ academic achievements and promote socially, culturally, and educationally enriching experiences for everyone.

The front desk often gives students and visitors their first impression of a residence hall. Desk staff should work to send a welcoming message that conveys a sense of inclusion, safety, and service. Desk managers play an intricate role in the success of each desk.

In addition to performing all the duties of a desk assistant, desk managers provide the administrative and supervisory support required to run a successful front desk operation. A few of the responsibilities include selecting and training the desk staff, assuring key accountability for each students room key, delivering mail and packages to the community, and assuring that the desk is open during all posted hours.

We are currently accepting applications for the 2008-2009 academic years. Review of applications will begin on February 12th, 2008 and will continue until all positions are filled.
