Full Time Community Director Senior Position Description

The University of Arizona Residential Education Team is looking for innovative and self- motivated student affairs professionals. Dream, explore, and discover through a Residential Life Program where the focus is on providing a stimulating environment for residents and staff within our inclusive community.

Located in the city of Tucson, within a multicultural population that reflects the richness of the Southwest, The University of Arizona (established in 1885) is a public, land-grant institution with an enrollment of 37,000. Residence Life serves over 6,000 students who reside in 22 residence halls. Innovative and self motivated student development professionals are encouraged to apply for the following openings.

Responsibilities:

Resources include: Office, computer, printer, E-mail and voice mail.

Qualifications: Master's degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, and two years post- masters experience is required. Experience working with culturally diverse populations and residence life or relevant background is required. Ability to participate as a positive team player, and skills necessary to respond to internal and external customer needs in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

Starting date: July 1, 2008
