The University of Arizona Residential Education Team is looking for innovative and self- motivated student affairs professionals. Located in the city of Tucson, within a multicultural population that reflects the richness of the Southwest, The University of Arizona (established in 1885) is a public, land-grant institution with an enrollment of 37,000. Residence Life serves over 6,000 students who reside in 22 residence halls. Innovative and self motivated student development professionals are encouraged to apply for the following openings.
Responsibilities:
- Live-on position that is responsible for coeducational hall of 450-800 residents
- Supervise 19-24 Resident Assistants and supervision of a Graduate Community Director.
- Select, train, and evaluate staff
- Implement the Academic Success Program & the Caring and Inclusive Learning Community Program
- Serve as a judicial hearing officer
- Advise Hall Council
- Chair a departmental committee
- Campus-wide duty rotation

Qualifications: Master's degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, and two years post- masters experience is required. Experience working with culturally diverse populations and residence life or relevant background is required. Ability to participate as a positive team player, and skills necessary to respond to internal and external customer needs in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
Starting date: July 1, 2008
