Online Registration
Welcome to ResComp at the University of Arizona. Use this page to register for your network access or to update information about yourself in the ResComp database.
To register your computer you will need:
- Your UofA student identification number
- Your UofA Net ID
- Your computer's ethernet card hardware ("adapter") address (make sure you write it down)
- The operating system your computer is using (Windows 2000/XP, MAC OSX)
If you are missing any of the above information, stop here. You will be unable to register for network access. If you are unsure about how to find your ethernet card hardware address, just click on that item above for some guides about how to find it. If you don't yet have a U of A Net ID (and E-mail account), just click on that link, above, to get one. Once you have all the information, come on back and register!
You will also need access to a known working computer to use when registering your computer. Some suggestions for finding a known working computer are:
- The front desk's computer at your residence hall (they can access Internet Explorer, which will allow you get to the registration page)
- Your hall director
- The computer of a friend or roommate who is already registered online
- The Integrated Learning Center (ILS)
- The University of Arizona Main Library

Register or update your computer. Choose the link that says "Click here to manage registrations" and fill in the empty fields. You will need to be logged in with your UA NetID.
