Hall/Room Transfer Process and Schedule

The Hall/Room Transfer process will be begin each semester when all of the following conditions exist:

The Hall/Room Transfer process will end after the week prior to Thanksgiving in the fall and one week prior to the beginning of Spring Break in the spring.

Once the Hall/Room Transfer process begins in a semester, transfers will occur each week based on the following schedule:

Important Notes About the Process

Living-Learning Communities

If space becomes available in one of our designated Living-Learning Communities, an attempt will be made to identify someone on that hall’s transfer list who expressed interest on their original application for housing in being a part of that community and in fully participating in that community’s activities. In these cases, transfers to a space in this community may not follow the hall’s transfer list priority and may require additional effort/application on the part of an individual interested in being a part of one of these communities. If you are interested in being a part of one of the Living-Learning Communities noted below, please send an email to housing@life.arizona.edu requesting that your interest in a specific community be added to your housing application and hall transfer request record.
