Diversity in our Residence Halls

Our residence halls are global, multicultural communities of individuals representing a diverse blend of backgrounds and academic interests. We strive to work and live together in an atmosphere of positive contact and mutual respect.
Residence Life recognizes and values the commonalities and differences among students at the University of Arizona. Discrimination, sexual and bias-related harassment, hate crimes and other violations of student rights disrupt the educational process and are not tolerated.
Students in our communities have the right to be free of discrimination for reasons of age, color, ethnicity, gender, national origin, ability, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic background, Vietnam Era veteran status or unique individual style.
Here at the University of Arizona, Residence Life has a clear and strong commitment to diversity and multiculturalism. We believe that cross-cultural and intercultural experiences enrich our residential communities. We strive to provide our staff and students with quality programming designed to help us develop multicultural competency.
