Health Professions Theme Floor at Graham-Greenlee

Photo of med students

This theme floor in Graham-Greenlee Hall is available to students whose studies include health-related programs: pre-med, pre-nursing, pre-dental, pre-pharmacy, veterinary science, health education, and physiology.

A large wing on the third floor is reserved for students who seek an on-campus living experience that complements their area of academic interest. This is a great opportunity to connect with a group of students who share an interest in health professions in an environment that supports academics.

First-Year Colloquium

Students who live on this theme floor are encouraged to enroll in UNVR 195A-Exploring Careers in the Health Professions, a first-year colloquium offered by the Pre-Health Professions Advising Center. This one-credit course titled “Exploring Careers in Health Professions” will expose participants to the many career choices available in this new century of health care. Sign up for this colloquium during Summer Orientation.

“Graham-Greenlee is so close to the Science and Chemistry Buildings. Study groups –  love them! There are study groups all the time. If you have trouble understanding something in class, there is always someone here that will know the answer or has the same professor as you. All the people in the wing are really nice and I like the fact that they are focused on the health fields like me. I would definitely recommend this wing.”

“It's nice to have other students in your hall that are in the same classes, like Biology. If you missed something, someone is always willing to help. My roommate is also a great role model and has taught me how to have good study habits. I like living here very much.”
