Bathrooms in the Residence Halls
Community bathrooms:
Most residence halls have community bathrooms. They are usually located either in a center of a wing or at the end of a corridor. All community bathrooms are single-gender. The number of bathrooms vary depending on the size of the hall or wing/floor. They include multiple sinks with mirrors, separate showers (with curtains), toilet stalls with doors. The number of toilets, sinks and showers also varies, depending upon the number of resident rooms per wing/floor.
Community bathrooms are convenient because a number of residents are able to use the facilities at the same time. They are cleaned and maintained daily by Residence Life custodians. Many residents even find themselves socializing with others while brushing their teeth or drying their hair.
Suite bathroom/shared:
A few halls have private bathrooms. They are either shared by an adjoining single room (Babcock only) or by another double room. There can be up to four people sharing a suite bathroom. Included in the bathroom is a toilet, sink and shower (with curtain). Although the suite bathrooms are cleaned bi-weekly by our staff, student rooms are not.
Sky View bathrooms:
- 1-bedroom apartments have one full bathroom shared by 2 people.
- 4-bedroom apartments have 2 bathrooms shared by 4 people.
- Bathrooms at Sky View are not cleaned by Residence Life staff. Shower curtains are provided in all Sky View bathrooms.
