While it's important to us that you are comfortable in your hall, it's also important, due to space and safety issues, that you know what you can/should bring, and what you cannot bring to your new residence hall.

As you pack your stuff and get ready to move, we encourage you to engrave serial numbers on your electronic items (laptops, iPods, etc.) before youry move into your residence hall. If you do not have an etcher, write down all your serial numbers on the Electronic Item Inventory Form (PDF).
Statistics show that UAPD has been able to retrieve items where serial numbers were recorded by owners. Keep a duplicate copy at home with your parents.
